Vacancy
As a Customer Service Advisor, you’re the first point of contact for customers of an international company, helping them by phone, chat and email with everything from account access to payments and billing questions. Some of what you’ll handle involves gaming accounts specifically (think password resets or troubleshooting access), and anything more complex gets passed on to the right specialist so the customer isn’t left waiting. You’ll complete 5 weeks of paid training before you start handling cases on your own.
About the company
You’ll be based in a modern office in Larnaca, part of a team made up of colleagues from across Europe supporting the same client in their own languages. That mix keeps the atmosphere informal, with easy access to your team lead and plenty of people around who’ve made the same move abroad you’re considering. Working on-site every day also means you get to know your team quickly, rather than staying at arm’s length.
Destination​​
Living in Larnaca, Cyprus
Larnaca sits on the south coast of Cyprus, smaller and more laid-back than some of the island’s bigger cities, with a palm-lined seafront promenade (the Finikoudes) that’s an easy spot for a coffee or a walk once you’re off shift. The airport is just outside town, so getting home or exploring the rest of Europe is never a long trip. Just beyond the city centre is the Salt Lake, known for its flamingos, and the old town around Agios Lazaros church is a short walk from the water.
The island averages more than 300 sunny days a year, and it’s compact enough to see a good chunk of it in a weekend, whether that’s hiking in the Troodos mountains or driving the coast toward Limassol or Ayia Napa. More international companies have been setting up on Cyprus in recent years, so there’s a steadily growing community of people who moved there for work, just like you would be.
What do you get?​
- A gross monthly salary of €1,350, rising to €1,400 after 6 months.
- An uncapped monthly performance bonus based on your KPIs, averaging €250 to €300 extra per month.
- Help with your move to Cyprus: choose between a relocation package paid out 2-3 weeks after your start date (you arrange your own flight and housing), or a flight reimbursement plus the option to stay in company accommodation for your first two months.
- 5 weeks of paid training before you start handling cases on your own.
- Full-time hours (40 hours/week), in rotating shifts Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 19:30.
- A 2-year contract, with the possibility of moving to a permanent one afterwards.
What is required?
- Fluent in Norwegian (both spoken and written).
- Good English skills (both spoken and written).
- Experience in customer service, technical support or a call centre is a plus, but not required.
- You're a strong communicator who's comfortable troubleshooting and solving problems on the spot.
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have EU citizenship.
- You're willing to relocate to Larnaca, or you already live there.
- Minimum commitment: 6 months
